M197 - Excellent results from performance tests

The performance tests, carried out on the two DUCATI models Hypermotard and Monster S4R in collaboration with EVR - Edo Vigna Racing, show how the M197 unit allows to optimize and increase the power curve compared to the standard ECU.

DUCATI HYPERMOTARD

Hypermotard

The red curve represents the power in the original configuration, where the maximum value of 73 hp is reached at about 7000 rpm. The green curve represents the evolution of the power with the M197 ECU installed. In this case we obtained a gain of 12 hp at about 7000 rpm, maintaining throughout the range between 2800 rpm and 6000 rpm an increase of power between 5 and 8 hp.

DUCATI MONSTER S4R

Monster S4R

Again, the red curve refers to the original configuration, with a maximum power of 90 hp at 8300 rpm. With the M197 ECU installed, the power is increased by 5 CV consistently across the curve, from 4500 rpm up to 9000 rpm
